Introduction

The Nest Boutique Resort was set-up with the mission of delivering responsible and sustainable adventures to guests, in a safe and healthy way. They started working with Turneo in order to:
Bring their experience offer online: enabling digital bookings for in-house activities and third-party tours / transfers
Improve the ways guests were able to book: whether online, in-advance, at the front-desk, or from their hotel room
Add more experiences to their offer: thanks to quick and easy implementation, and simple management

What originally made you decide to work with Turneo?

We knew our guests wanted to book experiences online, but we didn’t have the budget, time or expertise to build our own solution. We were honestly a little sceptical at first about how simple the Turneo solution made everything appear - but we needn’t have been!

How was the implementation phase?

Honestly, Turneo made everything super easy for us. They gave us access to the platform, explained all of the features we’d want to use, and worked with us through an initial example to demonstrate how it would work. Later, they helped us integrate the store onto our website as well. They were available to us throughout - really helpful and easy to work with.

How did you find loading your in-house experiences?

We found it easy to switch our existing experiences to the Turneo platform. If you gather everything you need, it honestly takes less than a few hours and once done, it's great being able to manage everything in a single place - from our kite school, to our spa, to horse riding trips, to VIP dinners...Our guests can book and pay online, or equally can book at reception (where our staff can book on their behalf and just add it to their room bill).

Do you also use Turneo with third party vendors?

Given how easy it was to move across our own experiences, we were excited to also add experiences from third parties to the platform as well. It was easy to get vendors onboarded and we had no resistance - after all we’re helping make them more money! It means we feel we can now truly give our guests everything they need, which is awesome

What results did you notice after implementation?

Definitely people started booking more as a result. In particular we saw more advance bookings which also had the unexpected knock-on effect that we saw fewer guests cancel or change their opinion at the last minute. Our guests have told us that they found it really easy to book which is great.

How have your guests reacted?

Certainly we hear from guests that it’s easy to use, and in particular we hear that they love the engaging content with video displays. A lot of platforms we looked at weren’t anywhere near as good when it comes to engagement and conversion.

Do you have any integrations with Turneo?

We’ve covered off a lot - we send links to our guests in their pre arrival emails, we display bookable experiences on our website, and we run social media campaigns around what’s on. Next up is integrating to our PMS where we have no concerns - Turneo are always so friendly and flexible with supporting technological enhancements.What’s really stood out is that Turneo see it as a collaborative partnership - they constantly bring ideas on what to try next and are always receptive to when we want to do something new too. It feels like we’re in it together.

Is there anything you’d change or anything not working for you?

We are really happy with the tool and it definitely meets all our needs right now! What’s even better though is seeing how quickly Turneo are releasing new features and bringing new functionality to the platform. We feel secure that not only does it fit our needs right now, but that it’s going to keep on evolving as we do.
